Now Hiring - Seasonal Jewelry Sales Associate (Starting $14/hour Plus Commission!) in Manitou Springs, CO

The Garden of the Gods Trading Post is home to the premier Southwestern art gallery of southern Colorado. Our roots in the Native American arts run deep, and we carry Handmade Native American Jewelry, Navajo Rugs, Pueblo Pottery, Zuni Fetishes, Sand paintings, and Kachinas, but we’ve always combined historic tradition with leading edge artistry. In addition to keeping to our roots, we also carry and sell contemporary art and local artists.

The position starts at $14 an hour, but sales associates also receive both individual and pooled commission. We are looking for someone to work seasonally in our galleries, from July-October, either full-time or part-time during that time.

Gallery Associates are responsible for providing a positive guest experience, driving sales, accurate cash register operations, housekeeping, pricing and stocking merchandise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sales and working with customers to find the pieces they want
• clean and polish jewelry and jewelry cases/displays
• restock items
• provide customer detailed information about specific pieces
• follow and maintain security protocols
• etc.

Experience:

• at least one year Sales background
• prior knowledge about jewelry and artwork a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
